Kasian’s Calgary Studio

Through learnings and opportunities gained by remote work during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Kasian Architecture Interior Design and Planning, embarked on a firmwide workplace strategy to gain feedback from staff and leadership on changes to our ways of working and to our culture. With a pending lease renewal at the Calgary office, a pilot was implemented to test the findings with hybrid work scheduling in an Activity Based Work environment roughly half the size of the existing space. The success of this pilot informed the design of our new studio located in The District at Beltline. Our Resilient Workplace Approach, focused on supporting people and the planet, has resulted in a workplace that is targeted to achieve WELL certification and includes numerous sustainability strategies incorporated into the design.
