Siwin: Creating a multifunctional state-of-the-art food processing plant
Kasian was the Prime Consultant for the $13M, state-of-the-art food processing plant for Siwin Foods Ltd., designed and built to CFIA federal food processing standards and requirements.
At 34,445 SF, it includes administrative offices, production and support areas and specialized coolers and freezers.
From the outside, the visual design for the plant gathers inspiration from the ubiquitous Chinese take-out box. The ’box’ is tied together by a red ribbon, serving as Siwin’s corporate brand and official seal of approval that all food items produced from this plant is of the highest quality and safety.
