The spark of creativity can inspire in the most surprising ways.

With over 20 years’ experience in commercial, corporate, and residential architecture and interior design, I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring that spark to life. When managing a project, I encourage and support my teammates to work outside their comfort zone and try things they haven’t tried before. Prior to joining the Kasian team, I led the design and implementation of corporate image programs for some of the world’s top automakers—including Jaguar Land Rover, BMW/Mini, Audi, Volkswagen, Toyota, and Honda—across Canada.

My Sectors: Commercial Mixed-Use, Industrial, Transportation, Workplace

My Services: Architecture, Facilities Planning, Interior Design, Master Planning & Urban Design

We Asked, Beto Najman Answered:

What drew you to architecture?

“I just loved it from a very early age—I played with Lego, of course. I would buy architecture and interior design magazines as a seven-year-old kid, and draw floor plans. I went on to train in both architecture and interior design.”

How would you describe your leadership style?

“I’m a teaching kind of person. I actually worked as a teacher back in Brazil. I love to see people learning: that energizes me. Whether it’s onboarding new designers to the office or coaching my team before working with a client, I get a real charge from that. A huge part of teaching is helping people find their own voices and what they’re passionate about, and I bring that to my leadership practice.”
