Maritime Helicopter Support Facilities: Efficient, future-ready facilities for aircraft operations and maintenance
This fast-track project included the design by Kasian and Integral Group of three new buildings that included hangars for daily aircraft operation, long-term aircraft maintenance, aircraft painting, workshops, training facilities and supporting office spaces. Integral designed a district heating system that used a central steam plant to provide heat to the facility via medium-pressure steam through an underground piping system, a highly efficient HVAC system designed to minimize wasted energy and exhaust heat recovery through water-to-water heat pumps.
