Hold Baggage Screening: Expanding security infrastructure for seamless passenger flow
The GTAA made a decision to use part of the existing parking at Terminal 1 to design and construct the new 10,400 sf building. This additional dedicated Hold Bag Screening (HBS) area will house the Domestic HBS system and ensure growing requirements are supported, in particular the passenger flow connected with the imminent PANAM Games. Kasian and Trisect Construction were awarded this Design-Build project in 2014.
