CAE (Mississauga, Ontario):
Kasian led the two-phase expansion of CAE’s Toronto facility. This project included the addition of a new simulator hall designed to house four state-of-the-art flight simulators. The hall serves as a critical training space, accommodating pilots for pre- and post-simulator briefings as part of their training exercises.
The expansions also incorporated essential support spaces, including a computer server room, advanced mechanical and electrical systems, oxygen supply, and simulation smoke capabilities for cabin training scenarios.
The construction of the new simulator halls was carefully planned and executed to ensure uninterrupted operation of the existing 24/7 facility throughout the project.
CargoJet (Hamilton, Ontario):
At John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, CargoJet installed a CAE simulator in a portion of an existing hangar. The project scope included the design and installation of two new simulator bays, approximately 6,000 square feet, along with a mezzanine level connected to the existing second-floor administration space of the hangar.
The design also incorporated training and meeting rooms, a supporting computer room, and upgraded HVAC and electrical systems, coordinated in collaboration with MEP consultant Introba.
