Geddes/Zimco: A residential project with office collaboration

With the purchase of a new industrial warehouse and office, the Geddes Family Foundation sought a workplace design that was functional, flexible, and attractive to a multi-generational workforce, while enhancing their brand presence in the market.  

Our design focuses on creating a dynamic and comfortable environment with neutral colours, the warmth of natural wood, and refined detailing. A series of cabinets divide the offices and form a functional hub that includes a hidden bar. Glazed office fronts bring light into the interior, creating an inviting atmosphere. The layout includes a mix of large and small private offices, hoteling stations for outside sales staff, and open workstations for inside sales staff. 

A private executive area creates an exclusive space for entertaining with all the comforts of home, with a large boardroom fitted to enhance the high-end experience for guests. Amenities including a fitness centre support staff well-being, while the community café serves as a central meeting space for teams to come together, interact and engage. 

This workplace solution uniquely blends residential comfort with office functionality and corporate hospitality all within in an efficient, compact space.
