14 street-level stations & 2 elevated stations: Connecting Communities – Designing the Future of Edmonton’s Valley Line West
Valley Line West is a 14 km light-rail extension from 102 Street in Downtown Edmonton to Lewis Farms. The P3 pursuit was the second stage of the Valley Line and features 14 street-level stops and two elevated stations. Additionally, two supporting operations and maintenance buildings will be constructed along the LRT Corridor. The Valley Line West LRT Corridor crosses through a diversity of neighbourhoods, from stable communities to areas with great potential for change. The LRT Corridor also connects several major destinations from West Edmonton to Downtown. Kasian were the architects for one of the proponent teams during the RFP stage. The P3 contract was awarded to another consortium.
