This large recycling facility is a key part in the City of Edmonton’s overall master plan to reduce waste. The pre-engineered structure consists of a 20 foot vertical grade separation to allow vehicles to deposit waste at the higher level. There is a drive through tunnel for rejected material below, and a substantial lower area for state-of-the-art automated materials separation. This project interfaces with existing and planned future phases.
