‘Last winter, 5468796 Architecture in collaboration with Kasian Architecture completed the 9th Avenue Parkade + Innovation Center renovation project, located adjacent to the new Calgary Library, Calgary City Hall and Studio Bell (the National Music Center), in the city of Calgary, a cosmopolitan city in the state of Alberta, Canada, an area with great growth thanks to its importance in the oil industry.
The main objective of the project was to create a car park in a creative and innovative way, by understanding the probability of future obsolescence of a building dedicated solely to car parking. The public administration of the city requested a project for a 510-space parking lot that could easily be converted into an office, light industrial or residential building.’
