Yuritza brings more than 35 years of experience in design direction, design management, and project delivery. As Principal, Interior Design, her collaborative approach and supportive leadership style help strengthen and expand Kasian’s workplace practice. 

Her background spans workplace, residential, and retail environments, with a strong focus on client relationships, business development, and strategic execution. By aligning design solutions with business objectives, culture, and brand identity, Yuritza helps create purposeful, people-centred workplaces. Drawing on her project management experience, building code expertise, and design acumen, she provides quality assurance throughout the design and delivery process. 

A confident problem solver and decision-maker, Yuritza helps clients and teams navigate complexity while creating workplaces that foster culture, connection, flexibility, and long-term performance. She is also passionate about mentoring emerging professionals and cultivating collaborative, high-performing teams. 

Outside the office, Yuritza enjoys exploring new cuisines with friends and has recently discovered a passion for pickleball.

What makes a great design?

“Great design starts with people. It should support culture, connection, focus, and performance. It should also be beautiful, well-crafted, and functional, with an impact that is felt by both the client and their people.”

How would you describe your working/leadership style?

“I lead with clarity, trust, and accountability. My leadership style is people-focused, empowering teams to collaborate effectively, navigate complexity, and deliver exceptional results. My role is to provide direction, remove obstacles, and create an environment where individuals and teams can thrive. I believe in setting a clear vision while maintaining high standards of quality and client service. Leading with empathy, I adapt my approach to support individual growth while keeping teams focused on shared goals and outcomes.”
