To build something great, you have to understand who you’re designing for.

With over a decade of experience working across various sectors, I make sure everything I design fosters a sense of freedom and curiosity, actively helping the user live a better life. As a project leader, I put collaboration first, making the most of my team’s collective experience and diverse stakeholder insights to arrive at a design that will both satisfy and delight the client and end users. My notable recent projects include the Qualico BC Commercial Office, as well as a deep portfolio of BC Hydro workspaces and site facilities in urban, suburban, and rural British Columbia.

My Sectors: Commercial Mixed-Use, Government Administration, Industrial, Utilities.

My Services: Architecture, Master Planning & Urban Design.

We Asked, Dragana Perusinovic Answered:

What makes a great design?

‟It is incredibly important to understand the cultural and environmental context around what you’re about to build, as well as really knowing who will be using it and why. This will give the project its unique quality and make it appropriate for real-life use.”

How would you describe your leadership style?

‟Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, so I make sure every voice around the table is heard: client, consultants, contractors, and my own team. Making sure everyone has an opportunity to share their ideas and opinions—and that they feel like they’re being heard and considered—is a must.”
