Good design is invisible—when a space works as intended, you don’t notice it. You only notice when it doesn’t.
Dara is an experienced interior designer with nearly two decades of practice shaping corporate workplace environments. Since graduating in 2006, she has built a career defined by long-term, meaningful contributions, spending over eight years at each firm she’s been part of. Her work focuses on designing spaces where people spend the majority of their day, with a deep understanding of how the built environment influences well-being, connection, and performance.
Dara is also a dedicated mentor, passionate about guiding and inspiring the next generation of designers. Her steady presence, thoughtful leadership, and commitment to design excellence reflect a career rooted in purpose and impact.

We asked, Dara Hofmeister answered:
How would you describe your collaboration style?
“Design is a team effort, not a solo pursuit. When we communicate and solve problems together, we elevate the outcome beyond what any one person could achieve alone.”
What makes for a successful project?
“For me, a project is most successful when a designer can see it through from beginning to end. Being involved in every phase of a project ensures for our clients that the information and intent is carried through and nothing gets lost in translation.”
