Transition Centre, CDSB Gagetown: Supporting CAF members with a welcoming, adaptable design

The Transition Centre at Canadian Division Support Base (CDSB) Gagetown, will provide professional, personalized, and standardized transition services to Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members transitioning to civilian life, veterans and their families in the region. The centre includes workspaces, reception areas as well as individual, group and specialized counselling and therapy spaces. The design intent is to provide a simple, cost effective and functional building to enable these critical services while providing the users with a comfortable, safe and supportive environment. The building has been designed to act as a potential repetitive model that can easily be adapted to other bases across Canada.
