The compact, landlocked site, nestled within the original footprint of the existing theatre and the adjacent lane, presented a unique challenge that has been met with an inspired architectural solution: the theatre itself will be elevated to the second level, accompanied by expansive lobbies, while the ground floor opens up as a welcoming, inclusive public space. This thoughtful design not only maximizes functionality but also invites the community to engage with the arts in new and meaningful ways.

The new addition will stand as an ‘art center in the park,’ a dynamic hub that celebrates creativity in all its forms. At its heart is a state-of-the-art, 364-seat theatre equipped with a fully retractable, multipurpose stage, offering unparalleled versatility to host a diverse array of performances, events, and community functions year-round.
