Coutts-Sweetgrass Border Crossing: An integrated US and Canada border services facility
The Coutts-Sweetgrass Border crossing linking Alberta and Montana includes a three-storey, 6000 sqm main processing building and six ancillary buildings. This border processes both traveller and commercial vehicle traffic. The main building is an integrated US and Canadian border services facility that spans the border between the US and Canada. A glass-enclosed bridge divides the two halves of the building and serves as a main circulation spine and access point to the building from the adjacent communities of Sweetgrass and Coutts.
