The Art of the Possible in Long-Term Care Design

Learn about new developments in LTC and seniors housing that improve quality of life through design such as, improving social interactions and creating spaces and programs that support independent living choices for residents, including those with dementia.

Discussions will include:

– How do we use data to support seniors’ needs in planning projects to achieve the best care possible?
– How do care plans and programs help to inform how design and architecture support these goals and how can we go beyond care goals to enhance life experiences?
– What are the opportunities to integrate senior’s services and leverage existing services in the community to provide intergenerational social opportunities?
– How will the new LTC standards being developed by CSA further inform where we are going and what we need to think about as owners and operators?
– How do we ensure that while enabling residents better hospital care by proximity to hospitals that seniors housing / LTC builds are designed for older residents not patients?
– How do we deliver these innovative concepts and make these models financially viable, what are some examples of partnerships that have worked effectively?

We’d love to get to know you
