We asked, Amin Sadeghi answered:
What drew you to Kasian?
“When the opportunity at Kasian was presented to me, I had the chance to meet Don Kasian, and I was immediately drawn to both his personality and his vision for the company, especially his long-term focus on its legacy. He struck me as highly strategic, thoughtfully handpicking principals and building a strong team, which was evident during the leaders’ retreat.”
What inspires you, and what defines a successful project or great design?
“What inspires me most is seeing a project come together in a way that satisfies everyone involved – from clients and stakeholders to the end users. In transit and public infrastructure, the ‘client’ is often the public itself. Therefore, a great design should strike the right balance between function and beauty, and it should elevate the experience of those who interact with it. For a project to be truly successful, it needs to meet expectations around budget, timing, and ultimately quality.”
