Sysco Food Systems: Efficient food distribution with a functional design
Kasian worked with contractor, Stuart Olson, to develop the large scale dry and cold food services distribution facility for Sysco Food Systems west of Edmonton. Using an established prototype for the design, Kasian implemented a compartmental organization system for frozen and dry food storage, distribution, and 70,000 SF of administrative regional offices. We developed customized building systems and used specific materials to adhere to the high-quality control mandates, while creating an inviting street-facing entrance and workplace environment.
