The new workspace occupies 30,000 square feet in a downtown Vancouver office tower. Its state-of-the-art fitout seamlessly connects clients with site operations and facilitates collaboration among employees.

Natural materials and finishes inspired by the industry were chosen for their timelessness and experiential qualities. Displaying a contrasting theme of light and dark, patterns, colours and textures reflect the varied and distinctive landscapes in which the company operates.

An internal staircase offers an open and transparent connection between the floors, linking the reception and client areas to the boardroom and facilitating communication among departments. The L-shaped stairway’s central opening allows natural light to cascade down, creating interactions between the hand-selected stone wall panels and hanging light feature, evoking an experience of mining exploration.

The reception and glazed meeting rooms are oriented to the west to take in ocean and mountain views. The main boardroom features an oval-shaped conference table with integrated technology for all meeting participants. Open and accessible areas such as the café serve as extensions of the workspace and act as social and cultural hubs with reconfigurable seating for both work and social gatherings events.
