Amplifying the impact and understanding of music

National Music Centre

To amplify the love, sharing and understanding of music, the Cantos Foundation with the National Music Centre believed a new facility could use music acting as a catalyst for discovery, innovation and renewal. With varied functions and diverse users, the new National Music Centre demanded a design like no other. Allied Works designers knew that the facility must function to enhance and add to the user experience. The final design features more than recording studios and exhibit spaces; offering users with restaurant space, a radio station, classrooms, retail space, and numerous live performance areas.

A facility of this magnitude and detail commands an architect who demands excellence. To ensure the design of Allied Works Architects is completed in 2016 as scheduled, Kasian stepped in as executive architect to lead construction administration.
