We Asked, Brenda Lee Answered:

What inspires you?

“My team and I walk in the shoes of the people who will use the spaces we create. Inspiration also comes from other creative works that I see worldwide—beyond architecture and into all areas of art.  Inspiration comes from within my team as well: everyone has a voice and something to contribute to the overall design effort.”

How would you describe your leadership style?

“As a collaborator, I like to involve everyone. If you’re part of the team, you have something to contribute. From the very beginning of a project, it’s all about understanding the challenge and together developing a design solution to overcome it. As a leader, I can then steer the process and curate the ideas into a cohesive design language and strategy that aligns with the client’s vision.”
