Bringing a design to life is truly exhilarating.
As a project manager, I guide the design from idea to completed building—monitoring documentation, budget, and project schedule, and serving as Kasian’s on-site representative during construction. My deep understanding of corporate design and extensive experience with the construction process helps me manage multidisciplinary teams on complex builds and renovations. I have managed millions of square feet of renovations and new builds for Canada’s largest institutions, currently working with Kasian’s TD portfolio among several other regional and national projects across various industries. As a leader, I build consensus by empowering my team to explore each challenge from many different angles. As a mentor, I ensure that emerging architects and designers have the real-life tools and experience to make their marks on the world.
My Sectors: Commercial Mixed-Use, Education & Research, Government Administration, Healthcare, Industrial, Military, Public Safety & Justice, Senior Living, Transportation, Utilities, Workplace

We Asked, David Della Torre Answered:
What drew you to architectural project management?
“I got into architecture because my father and uncles were into construction: the seed was planted when I was quite young. On the way, I got into more of the project management side: I found that role to be deeply rewarding.”
What inspires you?
“To take an idea and germinate it to the end result—something you can see, feel, and enjoy. It’s like meeting your child when they’re born. You’re so happy and overwhelmed that what has emerged is the best thing possible.”
