We have an exciting opportunity in our Vancouver office for a receptionist to join our team.

We are seeking an energetic Receptionist with initiative for our downtown Vancouver office of 110 people. As the face and voice of the Firm for external and internal clients, you will be an ambassador of Kasian providing support across two floors.


Here’s what you’ll be doing at Kasian:



  • Act as an Ambassador of Kasian
  • As the first point of contact professionally greet and connect corporate visitors (Customers, Clients, Vendors, Employees, and other visitors) with the appropriate team member or suggest voicemail or an alternative staff member
  • Work closely with the Admin team to ensure a high level of service is provided to staff and guests
  • Manage switchboard and record/relay messages with promptness and accuracy
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence (mail, deliveries, cheques, samples, drawings) in a timely manner
  • Maintain mail and courier schedules
  • Coordinate with external vendors for various purposes including ordering office, coffee and kitchen supplies and catering
  • Organizing technicians for repairs and liaising with building management on maintenance issues
  • Compile and maintain a list of contact information for clients, suppliers and vendors (i.e. caterers, printers etc)
  • Update and distribute Staff Directory and Contact Lists
  • Provide administrative help as requested including, but not limited to: word processing, data entry, timesheet entry, expense entry, maintaining staff directory and databases, subscriptions, equipment logs, office-wide communication, light lifting
  • Manage access cards and business card inquiries including orders for new employees, replacements, or change requests
  • Provide support for printing, collating, scanning and binding documents and drawings
  • Perform minor maintenance for photocopiers, printers, plotters and scanners
  • Assist with maintaining/scheduling boardrooms and setting up in-person and online meetings
  • Ensuring cleanliness of reception area, front lobby, staff kitchens and meeting rooms


Here’s what you bring to Kasian:


  • Minimum of 3 years of related customer service orientated role
  • Phone switchboard operator experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of office practices
  • Strong communication, organization and customer service skills
  • Possess a professional appearance
  • Motivated and proactive and possess the ability to problem-solve
  • Can work both in a team and independently
