Growing green space in Beijing
A triple threat in design development
Building a stronger community that fostered life and cultural was important in the design development of the International Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR) project. Natural light and green space were important to the design of this landmark project set in urban China, a city where added green space is welcomed.
This south facing three building development uses green space to connect the 15 storey office tower, the 24 storey luxury hotel and the 7 storey INBAR headquarters. INBAR, an independent non-profit international organization, is now home to a 600-seat auditorium, an exhibition gallery, seminar rooms, and administrative offices.
