Kasian, the lone international firm in a design competition, was awarded the project: a multi-purpose technology park associated with the University of Zhejiang, in Hangzhou, China.

The park provides space for private and public technology and research firms to lease space. With aesthetics based on the principles of the Chinese garden, it incorporates a wide range of research, exhibition, conference and amenity spaces; including research space for biology, medicine, new materials, advanced manufacturing, and cutting-edge product development, conference and exhibition facilities, meeting spaces, offices, reception and training areas.
