The final phase of the Vancouver International Airport Expansion Project, the Link 2 Building, saw the creation of the International - Domestic hub. Existing largely airside, this hub directs 9 million passengers annually through the space. The passengers are departing, arriving and transferring from the Domestic and International terminals. The space, representative of a clearing in the forest, is a 'blink' moment for the transient passenger on the move. Artwork, Flight Information Display Systems and Information Counters are the only clutter with a minimal number of wayfinding signs at each exit point to the space.
