This project was planned as a facility to be shared by the University of Calgary, Calgary Health Region, and a number of other supporting organizations.
The final design was for a 125,000 sq. ft. facility located on the U of C campus. It provides space for various child development programs including a university child care centre, provincially supported programs for interdisciplinary research, family and community research, and clinical services. It is the largest LEED® Platinum certified building in Canada.
