To accommodate the need for expanded peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis programs, the hospital required a renovation of part of the third floor of the hospital’s Health Care Centre, as well as leased space for a pre-dialysis clinic. The objective was to develop a high quality project that met all the functional needs of the staff, while creating a healing environment for patients.

The concept for the final design was derived from nature, translated into a recuperative environment that supports life, growth, nurturing, and caring. This concept was represented throughout the space using colour, form, and materials.
