Kasian designed the Angiography Interventional Unit at Royal Columbian Hospital, which provides specialized radiology procedures to support diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of clinical programs such as cancer, vascular and neurological surgery.

Opened in February 2005, the unit was designed to integrate the imaging unit of its kind within a patient- and user-centered two room suite, linked by common support services and a central nursing station.

The two-room unit features the latest developments in angiography technology, including direct digital (fl at panel) images, increased use of 3D imaging and digital reconstruction.
