This $29 million 35,000 sq. ft. public library and art gallery in the centre of Grande Prairie houses more than 500 permanent works of art as well as all the advanced technical capabilities of an ultramodern library.
The building is meant to attract both art and book lovers and act as a community focal point and cultural landmark. As a center for lifelong learning for citizens of all ages, the facility features expanded exhibition space, a children’s gallery, a fully equipped computer training area, expanded computer stations, meeting and teaching space, comfortable seating and advanced audio visual stations.
