The mission of the Military Museums is to inform and educate the public about the military history and heritage of Canada.

Kasian designed a new cafeteria, archival storage area, boardroom, classroom and administration offices within the existing museum. Kasian also designed a new, two-storey, 6,000 sq. ft. addition to include a library and an art gallery. The library/art gallery addition includes an environmentally-controlled archival and curatorial workshop, with the entire addition adhering to the highest museum standards.
