Kasian as part of the BC Healthcare Solutions consortium, was retained to complete the design for the new, greenfield, $100M outpatient facility in Surrey, BC. The Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre provides a full range of scheduled outpatient services including day surgery, diagnostic imaging, express testing, medical clinic and rehabilitation. The outpatient hospital includes a primary health-care clinic to deliver enhanced family practice services. In compliance with BC’s Ministry of Health’s recent mandate regarding LEED® standards for new greenfield health care facilities, this project is designed to meet LEED® Gold certification standards.
