EPCOR Tower is the first office tower to be built in Edmonton in 20 years. Located at the gateway to the downtown core, this 28 storey building is one of the tallest and most distinctive structures in the city. The Tower has been selected as one of Canada’s most environmentally advanced buildings, and was featured at the World Sustainability Conference, (SB11), held in Helsinki, Finland in October 2011.

Architecturally, the tower has many unique characteristics. It starts out at its base, with large sized floor plates that reduce in size as the tower gets taller. This produces a unique profile that culminates in a building top that has a beautiful silhouette against the city skyline.

The Tower incorporates a range of sustainable design, construction and operational features and is  targeting LEED® Gold certification. To meet the project’s sustainability objectives, a high performance exterior wall system is used on the  outside of the building. A special feature of the tower is the introduction of outdoor balconies on many of the upper floors for occupants to enjoy and to provide access to the outdoors.
