Despite a stunning river-side setting and a prime, high-traffic downtown location, the previous design of the Eau Claire Market had not been successful in past. So a new plan called for a complete redevelopment.

The $300 M master plan includes below-grade parking and comprises 1.1 million square feet of retail, hospitality, residential, and hotel developments - with special consideration given to the 'lifestyle' focus. This includes specialty food and grocery shops, theatres, outdoor lifestyle shopping, and specialty retailers.
