The Canada Revenue Agency sought a bright, energizing environment for call centre staff - a non-traditional government environment that was unique and reflective of their culture and spirit.
Based on research and focus groups, it was determined the employees preferred collaborative areas rather than private workspaces; as a result, no private offices exist on the floor. Instead, three private enclaves, and many multi-functional meeting spaces were created to provide additional spaces that staff can use when they need more quiet work space. This project received an IDIBC Bronze Award of Excellence.
