Milton is one interesting man; his career spans across decades and continents. Surrounded by aircraft factories in Texas during the WWII era Milton was fascinated by the planes that flew him and having an uncle who designed these factories intrigued the young man who chose architecture over aeronautical engineering – by registration line length alone.

Today Milton is a healthcare powerhouse; designing and managing some of North America’s most impressive projects with the belief that hospitals are a community’s most important buildings. He sees that everyone experiences a hospital whether through birth, sickness, death, or as a place of employment and learning - a hospital is a small city, planning one is exciting as it brings the technical and social issues found in city planning.

Milton has already had an impressive career, he has led international teams, worked at the prestigious Stanford University’s Medical School, won Governor General’s Awards, acted as Arthur Erickson Architect’s director, and pushed environmental initiatives – through all this Milton believes the most important part of his journey is the people he impacts and the opportunity to grow people.
