I’m inspired by the profound impact that design has on people’s lives and the environment.

I believe every project is an opportunity to enrich communities by integrating purpose and aesthetics. As a registered architect, I am involved in a diverse range of projects which range from mixed use, multifamily residential, healthcare, cultural performing arts and master planning. The variety in my work has given me an in-depth understanding of multiple sectors and needs of clientele, along with the design complexities, challenges and opportunities associated with each.  

I’m inspired by the profound impact that design has on people’s lives and the environment; and strive to create projects which have deep meaning which strengthen the cultural spirit of the communities.  
 

With a primary focus on architectural design and business development, I have led large scale projects in all phases from concept and master planning to final occupancy. I have a collaborative leadership approach and work very closely with my clients to meet their needs; while creating spaces that are as intelligent and sustainable as they are beautiful.  

I believe every project is a relationship built on transparency and trust, and the most successful projects are a result of partnerships and effective teamwork. I further believe Sustainability is a foundation for great design and an opportunity for added innovation; and push boundaries at finding the right balance between efficiency and aesthetics.  

 
Community engagement has been an essential part of my design approach, and I’m proud to have contributed to multiple projects involving indigenous engagement, working closely with, and listening to various Frist Nations groups and helping translate their cultural visions into living designs. As a lifelong learner and travel enthusiast I endeavor to push the boundaries on creating a design that is culturally sensitive and inclusive of all in each future project.

What drew you to architecture? 

“I’ve loved design from a young age. I knew early on that I wanted to create, whether it was architecture, fashion, art, jewelry, or interiors. I gravitated towards architecture because it felt more challenging and had more opportunities for impact at a larger scale, and I wanted to be part of creating something that lasts.”

What makes a great design?  

“Great design is always site-specific. Above anything else, it must be contextual, relating to and emphasizing its environment in terms of landscape, topography, and most importantly culture. Whether it is a public space, amenity area, or a healing environment, it has to reflect and echo its current setting, while having the power to evoke emotion.”
