Kasian Vancouver attended the 10th annual Thompson Okanagan Kootenay Commercial Building Awards, hosted by the Business Examiner Thompson Okanagan on September 20. These annual awards are sponsored by the Southern Interior Construction Association, Re/Max Commercial, and MNP accountants. The gala recognizes the winning efforts of the Thompson, Okanagan and Kootenay regions’ new institutional, commercial, industrial building, multi/single family, recreational or renovation projects located from Kamloops to Osoyoos, and from Revelstoke to Fernie.
Kasian won an Award of Excellence under the Office category for the BC Hydro Vernon Regional Operations Centre project. This new post-disaster operations facility features 14 full-sized truck bays, associated warehouse/workshops, various offices, employee amenities and support spaces. In addition to the main building, six pre-engineered structures will also be added to the site serving the fleet services department, fleet vehicle parking, yard storage, hazmat storage and secured storage functions.
We are proud of our ongoing involvement in public buildings, and are focused on creating exceptional design for people and their communities. We genuinely observe, listen, and analyze to understand the essence of each project while delivering a level of public service that results in better outcomes for the communities they serve.
