Our Vancouver team recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Liberty Construction Group to conceptually design a 100,000 square foot manufacturing warehouse facility and corporate headquarters. The facility was designed to provide a high-performance work environment with ample lighting in both the office and factory floor areas. The goal for their new national headquarters was to display leadership, innovation, and excellence while promoting and showcasing the construction products produced by the client.

Ensuring competitive costs was a challenge for the design team; however the solution was to use a tilt-up concrete and steel frame construction to allow for pre-fabrication opportunities and easy construction.

At the entrance, the team implemented a dramatic, double-height volume feature with wood soffits, wood bench seating, and an assortment of plantings to provide a warm and welcoming entrance for visitors and employees alike. On the interior, the team selected color glass balustrades to create a feature staircase connecting the two office levels. In the warehouse spaces, the facility allows for the receiving of raw materials and shipping of construction products.

Kasian is delighted with the cool visualization of the spaces in this fly-through video.
