Yesterday, Kasian participated in the Herman Miller ‘We Care’ event which was held at University Settlement in Toronto.  ‘We Care’ enables children to let their creativity shine by making holiday gifts for family, teachers, and friends at a variety of craft stations. This is Kasian’s second consecutive year participating in this event, which is an exciting opportunity to contribute to alongside other industry leaders and the community. This year’s craft was designed with the Valentine’s Day theme in mind.

The craft we chose to create was a fortune cookie made out of felt, which housed a special message written by each kid. The fortune cookie was then placed inside a take-out container that kids could decorate with stickers, jewels, and stamps. Our team was amazed to see the imagination and creativity that the activity brought out in the kids.

The event was a great success and brought our team together once again for a special day of craft making. A huge thank you to Filzfelt for providing us with some felt samples, and for Herman Miller for organizing this wonderful event.

We look forward to participating next year.
